What am I doing now?

This is a note of what I'm currently doing, both in terms of my music and any writing projects.

Music

I'm returning more and more to my roots, of the electric guitar and improvised music. It's also occupied a lot of my listening space in the last couple of years. I'm also really keen to find new opportunities for playing and recording with other improvising musicians. Please do get in touch if you're similarly inclined. I confess the notion of this does scare me a little. The last time I played live to an audience was in the year 2000!

Writing

I'm writing more and more poetry at the moment, mainly short pieces, although usually something beyond the purely minimal. Recent (shorter) work has been featured in aswirl, Whiptail and Password.

What else?

I'm typing this from a house in Brittany in the dying days of August. Autumn soon, and the colours will change again.
